Giuseppe Tornatore’s beloved classic follows Salvatore, a successful film director who returns to his Sicilian hometown for the funeral of Alfredo, the projectionist who inspired his lifelong passion for film. As he reconnects with the community he left behind three decades earlier, memories of his childhood, his first love, and the cinema that shaped his life come flooding back.
