During this time a deep and inspirational connection with the River Dart was formed. The River Dart features in Li An’s book ‘Drinkable rivers, how the river became my teacher’ and has influenced her life’s dedication as an activist and educationalist focused on a future where we can drink straight from our rivers again knowing the water will be pure and healthy.
