**THE TOTNES SOCIAL** ABRASIVE TREES

Abrasive Trees will take us on an audio-visual journey through their experimental approach to post-rock and psychedelia.

Creating a visionary, cinematic sound, the band use intertwining guitars, distorted cello, synths, bass and leviathan drums set against stark vocals and spectral spoken-word. Their music expresses an inner world that is at times intense, but ultimately hopeful.

The band consists of Matthew Rochford (guitars and vocals), Ben Roberts (cello),  Niall Parker (special guest on bass for this show) and Jerome Hitchens (drums), enhanced by incredible widescreen visual art from Jess Wooller.
