The Lady Eve (PG) – 1941, USA, 92 mins

When he breaks off their romance, she poses as glamorous English aristocrat “the Lady Eve Sidwich” in order to win him back.

“You can’t get a better romantic comedy than The Lady Eve”
Peter Bogdanovich (Paper Moon, The Last Picture Show)

“One of the warmest, funniest, most romantic movies ever made”. Indiewire

“Sturges’s superb screwball comedy is hilarious, wild and romantic.”  BFI
