SUMMARY:TUNER (15) 1h 47m MATINEE 3PM
DESCRIPTION:Dir: Daniel Roher \nCast: Leo Woodall\, Dustin Hoffman\, Alisen Richmond-Peck \nGenre: Crime\, Music\, Romance \n\nIn this exhilarating caper\, a piano tuner’s talents lure him into a life of crime. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLeo Woodall impresses as a shy piano tuner whose perfect pitch and hearing prove invaluable to a group of thieves. Niki (another superb turn by White Lotus and One Day star Woodall)\, a piano tuner\, lives with hyperacusis – an increased sensitivity to sound. Meanwhile\, Harry\, Niki’s boss and mentor\, is losing his hearing. When Harry is locked out of his safe\, Niki discovers a new talent that will both transform and threaten his sedate\, quietly uneventful life. The narrative feature debut of Oscar®-winner Roher (Navalny) is an enjoyable\, wonderfully understated crime caper with a swirl of romance. Boasting outstanding sound design\, kinetic editing and a screenplay that balances smart plot twists with richly drawn characterisation\, Tuner balances the thriller edge of Michael Mann’s Thief with the sonic fascination of Whiplash\, hitting all the right keys for a great time at the movies.\n\n\n\nCafe opens from 10am  serving delicious  home made cakes\, Crankhouse Coffee and Specialty Teas. Bar opens from 12pm serving cocktails\, fine wines\, craft beers and bar snacks. Last orders 10 minutes before the film starts. \nFilm starts promptly at 3pm. \nWATCH THE TRAILER HERE

SUMMARY:PORTRAIT OF A LADY ON FIRE (15) 1h 56m
DESCRIPTION:Dir: Celine Sciamma \nCast: Noémie Merlant\, Adèle Haenel\, Luàna Bajrami \nGenre: Drama \nArtist Marianne arrives at a solitary house outside a gloomy coastal town in 18th-century France. She’s tasked with covertly painting the estate’s heir\, Héloïse\, an aloof young bride-to-be. But between stolen glances and secrets spilled\, a romance unfurls\, challenging what is true and what is seen to be right. Masterfully shot and decisively feminist\, Sciamma’s sublime drama is one of the most evocative depictions of desire and longing to hit the screen. \nBar opens from 7pm serving our fabulous cocktails\, fine wines and craft beers\, as well as savoury and sweet snacks. \nFilm starts promptly at 8pm with last orders 10 minutes before the film \nWATCH THE TRAILER HERE
