NORTH SEA, NATURE UNTAMED (U) 1h 29m

Dir: Mark Verkerk
Genre: Documentary
Having travelled the world capturing breathtaking footage of some of the planet’s most spectacular oceans, filmmaker Peter van Rodijnen has always overlooked the waters closest to home — the cold, grey North Sea.
That changes when he travels to Denmark to film the spawning of the majestic Atlantic salmon. After an absence of more than 60 years, these remarkable ocean travellers are returning to European waters, prompting Peter to explore the little-known underwater world on his own doorstep.
His journey takes him into dangerous currents, murky waters and fierce storms as he attempts to uncover the secrets of this extraordinary marine environment. What begins as a journey of discovery becomes a powerful encounter with a wild and often unseen world beneath the surface of the North Sea.
Bar opens from 7pm serving our fabulous cocktails, fine wines and craft beers, as well as savoury and sweet snacks.
Film starts promptly at 8pm with last orders 10 minutes before the film
