JAZZ BREW SUNDAY: THE HOT HOUSE COMBO

Join us for another Sunday afternoon of live jazz at Totnes Cinema, this time with The Hot House Combo.

Willy Briggs (vocals, guitar, harmonica), Lisa Briggs (vocals, accordion, washboard, guitar, double bass), Carl Woodison (trumpet, trombone) and Tim Heming (double bass, clarinet) bring a lively mix of vintage jazz inspired by the great musicians of the 1920s, ’30s and ’40s.

Expect upbeat rhythms, infectious energy and plenty of foot-tapping favourites, alongside original songs written in the same spirit. With accordion, washboard, brass, strings and harmonies all in the mix, The Hot House Combo capture the colourful, carefree character of an earlier era while keeping things fresh and fun.

Come along, settle in and enjoy a Sunday afternoon of great music, drinks and good company.

Doors open from 10am, with homemade cakes, Crankhouse coffee and speciality teas. Our full bar and cocktails are available from 12pm.
